XCLN: GPF in Access 2.0 When Viewing New Message Properties

The information in this article applies to:

SYMPTOMS

When you attempt to click on properties of a message created in Access 2.0, you may receive the following General Protection Fault (GPF) message:

   Msaccess caused a General Protection Fault in module Mcaccess.exe at
   0039:xxxx

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Exchange Windows 3.x client, versions 4.0, 5.0, and Microsoft Outlook for Windows 3.1x, Exchange Server Edition, version 8.0. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
