The information in this article applies to:

  • Microsoft FoxPro for MS-DOS, version 2.5

SYMPTOMS

The Hewlett-Packard (HP) LaserJet III printer driver incorrectly prints the CG Times and Univers fonts. The lines print over each other vertically.

CAUSE

The default leading has changed from 6.66 to .80 in the default driver.

RESOLUTION

To print correctly, change the leading for the printer driver back to 6.66. To do this, modify the printer driver setup. Under Fonts, make sure the CG Times or Univers font is selected, then enter the correct number for Leading. Another alternative is to use the Courier font.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in FoxPro 2.5 for MS-DOS. This problem was corrected in FoxPro 2.5a for MS-DOS.
