Page Preview Calculates Pages Twice in FoxPro for Windows

The information in this article applies to:
  • Microsoft FoxPro for Windows, versions 2.5x, 2.6, 2.6a

In page preview, if you enter a number in the Page box that is larger than the number of pages, the report page counter will go through the pages twice.

This behavior occurs because the first time through, page preview is calculating the last page, because it is unknown at this point. Once page preview determines the last page, the report recalculates the pages to display the last page.
