FIX: Calculate on Database Menu Not Working Correctly with Max

SYMPTOMS

Choosing Calculate from the Database menu in FoxPro 2.0 (release 06/09/92), selecting Max from the Math list box, and then double-clicking a numeric field will produce the error "Too few arguments."

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in FoxPro version 2.0 for MS-DOS. This problem was corrected in FoxPro version 2.5 for MS-DOS.

Steps to Reproduce Problem

  1. Open any database.
2. From the Database menu, choose Calculate. 3. Select the Expr check box. 4. Select Max from the Math list box. 5. Double-click a numeric field in the database. 6. Choose OK.

The error message "Too few arguments" will appear.
