SYMPTOMS

You cannot type an asterisk (*) in the Copy Tagged Files As text box in Filer.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in FoxPro 2.5 for Windows. This problem was corrected in FoxPro 2.5a for Windows.

Steps to Reproduce Problem

  1. Start Filer
2. Select a file. 3. Choose the Copy button. 4. Delete one or both of the asterisks in the Copy Tagged Files As 
   text box.
At this point, you cannot type an asterisk in the Copy Tagged Files As text box.
