SYMPTOMS

When you are using FoxPro for Macintosh with multiple monitors, a small, blank active window is displayed on one screen.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article. This problem was corrected in FoxPro 2.60a for Macintosh.

Steps to Reproduce Problem

  1. Start FoxPro on a dual-monitor configuration.

  2. On one monitor, a small window will appear. Switching to the Finder and then clicking in the window reactivates FoxPro, demonstrating that the window belongs to FoxPro.

This problem does not occur if the monitors are side by side.
