INFO: BROWSE Speed in FoxPro for Macintosh and FoxBASE+/Mac

Last reviewed: June 20, 1997
Article ID: Q111874
The information in this article applies to:

- Microsoft Visual FoxPro for Macintosh, version 3.0b - Microsoft FoxPro for Macintosh, version 2.5b

When doing comparable BROWSE functions, FoxBASE+ for the Macintosh will be faster than FoxPro for Macintosh.

Due to the increased graphical nature and added functionality of the Browse window and the BROWSE command, performance is slower in FoxPro for Macintosh than in FoxBASE+/Mac. This difference is primarily apparent during screen refreshes and scrolling in the Browse window.
