SUMMARY

In dBASE, the SET MESSAGE TO <expC> AT <row>,<column> statement will place the specified message at the location given by the AT clause.

MORE INFORMATION

In FoxPro for Windows and MS-DOS, the AT clause is ignored. If STATUS BAR is ON in FoxPro for Windows, the message is displayed in the status bar. If STATUS BAR is ON in FoxPro for MS-DOS, the message is displayed below the status bar.

If SET COMPATIBLE is ON and the STATUS BAR is OFF, the SET MESSAGE TO command will display and center the message at the bottom of the screen.
