Article ID: Q114155
The information in this article applies to:

  • Microsoft FoxPro for MS-DOS, versions 2.6x

SYMPTOMS

When there is an existing screen file (.SCX) with the same name as a dBASE (.SCR) file and they both exist in the same directory, selecting the Convert dBASE Files option does not prompt the user with the "Overwrite Existing SCX?" dialog box. The .SCX file is overwritten.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
