The information in this article applies to:
  • Microsoft FoxPro for Macintosh, versions 2.5x, 2.6a

SYMPTOMS

When you are using an Apple Macintosh PowerBook laptop computer, the bottom of the list of string and math functions in the Expression Builder or the bottom of @ ... GET popups in a screen is not accessible.

CAUSE

The monitor for the Apple Macintosh PowerBook has fewer display rows than a normal monitor. When the string or math lists or @ ... GET popups are opened, the arrow button that allows you to scroll down the list is not visible.

This behavior occurs when SET KEYCOMP TO MAC is true.

RESOLUTION

To work around this behavior, do one of the following:

  • Issue the SET STATUS BAR OFF command to make more of the screen rows available, allowing you click the bottom scroll bar arrow.

    -or-

  • Issue a SET KEYCOMP TO WINDOWS command. This will place a Windows-style scroll bar on the drop down lists.
