SYMPTOMS

When a sub-classed CommandGroup is added to a form, changes to the Caption Property of a button in the CommandGroup are not saved when the form is saved. This problem only occurs if you modified the Name property of the button in the sub-classed CommandGroup before adding the sub-class to the form.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article. This problem was corrected in Visual FoxPro 3.0b for Windows.
