SYMPTOMS

In FoxPro 2.0 for MS-DOS, the :F option is not saved with BROWSE preferences.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft FoxPro version 2.0 for MS-DOS. This problem was corrected in Microsoft FoxPro version 2.0 for MS-DOS dated September 26, 1991.

MORE INFORMATION

The BROWSE command supports several optional clauses permitting field-level validations when a field is exited in the Browse window. The Forced validation option F: controls if the verify (:V) expression is evaluated when a field is exited but not modified.
