PRB: SET FILTER TO FILE Causes "Variable FILE Not Found" Error

SYMPTOMS

SET FILTER TO FILE produces a "Variable FILE not found" error message.

CAUSE

The SET FILTER TO FILE command does not exist in FoxPro. However, the FoxPro "Developer's Guide" for version 2.0 incorrectly includes the SET FILTER TO FILE command in Chapter 17 in the section titled "Languages Changes FoxBASE+, FoxPro 1.xx."
