FP98: No Prompt to Save After Inserting Only a Stylesheet

SYMPTOMS

In the FrontPage Editor, when you close a page after the only change you have made is inserting a stylesheet, FrontPage doesn't prompt you to save the page.

CAUSE

If you do not edit the document in some way, FrontPage Editor does not recognize that you have made a change.

RESOLUTION

Before you close the page, save your changes by clicking Save on the File menu.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article.
