SYMPTOMS

When you install Handheld PC (H/PC) Explorer on your desktop computer, an H/PC Explorer program group may not be created.

CAUSE

The behavior described above occurs if you type a different program group name that includes any of the following characters:

   \/:*?"<>|

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, run the H/PC Explorer Setup program again. When you are prompted for a program group name, use the default name or type a name that does not include any of the characters listed above.
