Font Size Not Retained in Internet Explorer for Macintosh

SYMPTOMS

If you change the size of the display font in Internet Explorer, the new setting may not be retained the next time you start Internet Explorer.

CAUSE

The default display font is set at a fixed size. The size settings are based on the system font assigned for the operating system. Font size setting changes are not maintained in the Internet Explorer preferences file.

RESOLUTION

You must change the size of the display font each time you start Internet Explorer.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Internet Explorer version 2.0 for Macintosh. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
