SYMPTOMS

If your computer is restarted while you are uninstalling Internet Explorer, you may receive the following error message when you log back on to Windows NT:

   The previous installation of an application has not been completed.
   Logon with an Administrator account to complete the installation.

CAUSE

The account you logged on with does not have the right to make modifications to the registry.

RESOLUTION

Log out of Windows NT and then log on as the administrator or with an account with the right to make registry modifications.
