Rings Surround Mouse Pointer After Releasing CTRL Key

SYMPTOMS

Sonar rings may appear in either of the following situations:

  • You press CTRL+<other key>, release <other key>, and then release CTRL.
  • You press CTRL and one of the mouse buttons, release the mouse button, and then release CTRL.

CAUSE

When you enable the Sonar feature, the Sonar rings are displayed to locate the mouse pointer each time you release the CTRL key.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, disable the Sonar feature in the IntelliPoint software.
