Crash in Quick Preview Using Second Nature Screen Saver

SYMPTOMS

If you are running the Second Nature screen saver program, when you run the Quick Preview lessons in either Microsoft Excel, or Microsoft Word for Windows, your computer crashes.

WORKAROUND

To avoid crashing your computer, disable the Second Nature screen saver before you run the Quick Preview lessons in either Microsoft Word or Microsoft Excel. After you have completed the lessons, you can run the screen saver again.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
