Office: MOM Button Description/Menu Item Can't Contain Commas

SYMPTOMS

In Microsoft Office Manager (MOM), if a Custom button description or menu option contains a comma, the button or menu option is displayed while the Microsoft Office Manager is running.

When MOM is restarted, the button or menu option is not displayed.

CAUSE

Custom button descriptions or menu options cannot contain commas.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
