The information in this article applies to:

  • Microsoft Office for Windows 95, version 7.0

SYMPTOMS

In the Picture dialog box in Microsoft Office, if you click the Help button and click on OK when the insertion point changes to a question mark, the following Help quick tip will appear:

To open the selected file or folder, click Open

This information is misleading. Open is not a choice in the Picture dialog box. The only options are OK, Cancel, and the find fast options. The Help quick tip should refer to the OK button rather than the Open button.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
