OL97: ErrMsg: The End Date Occurs Before the Start Date

SYMPTOMS

In Microsoft Outlook 97, if you attempt to define Calendar working hours that span midnight you will get the following error message:

    The end date you entered occurs before the start date.

RESOLUTION

There is no resolution for this problem.

Outlook will not allow you to define a Calendar work day that spans midnight.

Steps to Reproduce the Problem

  1. On the Tools menu, click Options.

  2. Click the Calendar tab.

  3. In the Calendar Working Hours section, change the Start Time to 8:00 P.M. and the End Time to 4:00 A.M.

  4. Click Apply.

RESULTS: You receive the error message above.
