PC DOS: Slash Character Truncates X.400 Organization Name

SYMPTOMS

In versions 3.0 and 3.0a of Microsoft Mail for PC Networks, MS-DOS workstation, if you create an X.400 custom address that contains a forward slash (/) in the organization name field, the slash and any subsequent characters in the field are not shown when the Details window displays the value.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in versions 3.0 and 3.0a of Microsoft Mail for PC Networks, MS-DOS workstation. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
