PC WRmt: How to Recover from Mistyping Password on First Login

The information in this article applies to:
  • Microsoft Mail for PC Networks, Windows Client, version 3.2

If you enter your password incorrectly when you sign in to version 3.2 of Microsoft Mail Remote for Windows, you must delete the Mail Message File (MMF) and sign in again.

If the Microsoft Mail Remote driver is installed, delete the file <Windows_directory>\MSMAIL.MMF (by default, C:\WINDOWS\MSMAIL.MMF). If the AT&T driver is installed, delete the file <Windows_directory>\MS_ATT.MMF (by default, C:\WINDOWS\MS_ATT.MMF).
