UA: Import Module Does Not Support Default IIS Log Format

SYMPTOMS

The import module in Usage Analyst version 2.0 does not support the default Internet Information Server version 3.0 and version 4.0 log format.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, obtain the following fix or wait for the next Microsoft Site Server 2.0 service pack.

This fix should have the following time stamp:

 Usage Analyst Developer version for Access

1/12/98  7:10p 3,378,176   import.exe (Intel)

 Usage Analyst Developer version for SQL

1/12/98  6:31p 3,645,440   import.exe (Intel)

 Usage Analyst Standard version for Access

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Usage Analyst, version 2.0. This problem has been corrected in the latest U.S. Service Pack for Microsoft Site Server version 2.0. For information on obtaining the Service Pack, query on the following word in the Microsoft Knowledge Base (without the spaces):
