FIX: Err RPC_E_WRONG_THREAD Using Apartment Threaded Component

SYMPTOMS

You will receive the following error message when an apartment threaded component uses a single threaded object:

   0x8001010E
   RPC_E_WRONG_THREAD

WORKAROUND

To work around this problem, do not use single threaded objects from an apartment threaded component.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Transaction Server version 1.0. This problem was corrected in Microsoft Transaction Server version 1.1. For information on obtaining version 1.1, please see the following article the Microsoft Knowledge Base:
