NOTE: These are the default directory names (assuming a root drive of drive C) suggested by the Intellifont installation program.

During installation, Intellifont-for-Windows modifies your SYSTEM.INI file after making a backup called SYSTEM.IFW. Before installation, there is a line in your SYSTEM.INI file such as

   display.drv=vga.drv

or a similar line for the display driver you are using. After installing Intellifont-for-Windows, this information is updated to:

   display.drv=ifw.drv
   chain_display=vga.drv

The Intellifont installation also adds the following to your WIN.INI file and makes a backup called WIN.IFW:

   [Intellifont]
   SupportFiles=c:\td\type
   ifwstatus=1
   FontSumUpdat=0
