Write Files on Left Side of Screen with HP 500C Printer

SYMPTOMS

Some Microsoft Write files display their text jammed together on the left side of the screen when the Hewlett-Packard (HP) Color DeskJet 500C printer driver is installed.

WORKAROUND

To work around this problem, save the file as a text file, then reload the file, and save it again as a Write (.WRI) file.

STATUS

Microsoft is researching this problem and will post new information here as it becomes available.
