Fax Not Sent or Listed in Files To Send Box

SYMPTOMS

When you create a fax in Microsoft Exchange, the fax may not be sent or listed in the Files To Send box.

CAUSE

This problem can occur if the full path to the file exceeds 127 characters in length.

RESOLUTION

Shorten the path so that it is less than 127 characters in length.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Windows 95. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
