SYMPTOMS

The following is a dialog box that may appear when you are using the Windows NT Setup program:

   The driver(s) for this <hardware> Device are already on the
   system. Do you want to use the currently installed driver(s)
   or install new one(s).

If you choose the Help button in this dialog box, the following error message will appear:

   Help is not available for this request.

CAUSE

There is no Help topic for this dialog box. WINHELP will start, but will display the error message.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Windows NT version 3.1 and Windows NT Advanced Server version 3.1. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
