Service for Macintosh Print Monitor Does Not Recognize Printers

SYMPTOMS

If you create a printer in Windows NT Server version 3.5, and the printer name has more than 32 characters, the Services for Macintosh print monitor does not recognize the printer. As a result, Macintosh client computers cannot view the printers.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Windows NT version 3.5. This problem was corrected in Windows NT version 3.51.
