SYMPTOM

When users log on to a Windows NT FTP server with the user name of Anonymous and the password equal to the user's name, the FTP Server applet in Control Panel only shows the first user's name that was entered as the password, but fails to show the passwords of all other connected users; those users appear under the name Anonymous.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Windows NT version 3.5 and 3.51. This problem was corrected in Windows NT Workstation or Server version 4.0.
