User Account Expiration Date Decreases After Verifying Account

SYMPTOMS

After you configure the expiration date in the Account Information dialog box in User Manager for Domains, the expiration date decreases by a day each time you verify the user account information and choose OK.

WORKAROUND

To resolve this problem, upgrade to Windows NT Workstation and Server version 4.0.

To work around this problem, choose Cancel and you verify the user account information.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Windows NT version 3.5 and 3.51. This problem was corrected in Windows NT Workstation and Server version 4.0.
