SUMMARY

If you attempt to use multiple processors with Microsoft Windows NT, the extra processors may not be recognized if you use an Adaptec AHA-2940 with BIOS version 1.21.

The BIOS version 1.21 for the AHA-2940 contains an incompatibility with some multiprocessor systems. The problem may be resolved by updating to version 1.23.
