Canon Bubble Jet BJC-4300 Does Not Support Ledger Paper

SYMPTOMS

The Canon Bubble Jet BJC-4300 does not support ledger paper even though the driver indicates it is a valid paper size. The printer physically cannot feed 11 x 17 paper.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, obtain the following fix or wait for the next Windows NT version 4.0 service pack.

This fix should have the following time stamp: 

   11/26/97  05:18p                25,360 Canon800.dll (Intel)
   11/26/97  05:15p                44,816 Canon800.dll (Alpha)
You will no longer be presented with ledger paper size with the fixed Canon800.dll.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Windows NT version 4.0. A supported fix is now available, but has not been fully regression tested and should be applied only to systems experiencing this specific problem. Unless you are severely impacted by this specific problem, Microsoft recommends that you wait for the next Service Pack that contains this fix. Contact Microsoft Technical Support for more information.
