Entire Document Prints with Print Data Only For Forms Option

SYMPTOMS

If you print from the File Find File dialog box, Word for Windows incorrectly prints the entire document when you select the Print Data Only For Forms option in the Print Options dialog box.

Note: To print from the File Find File dialog box, choose the Commands button. From the list that appears, select Print.

STATUS

We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.

WORKAROUND

After you locate your document using the Find File command, choose the Open button to open the document, then print it in the usual manner. If you select the Print Data Only For Forms option, Word correctly prints only the data if your document is a form.
