Word Flags Document As Dirty After Loading Add-In Program

SYMPTOMS

In a new document, if you load an add-in program, then choose Close from the File menu, Word for Windows prompts you to save changes to the document.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Word for Windows. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
