Cannot Access Network Neighborhood from Advanced Find

SYMPTOMS

When you select Network Neighborhood in the Advanced Find dialog box, you receive the following error message:

   You do not have access to the folder 'Network Neighborhood.'

WORKAROUND

In the Open dialog box, select the specific server you want to search before you click the Advanced button, and then use the following steps:

  1. In the Look In list, select Network Neighborhood.

  2. Select Entire Network.

  3. Select the specific server.

After you click Advanced, specify your search criteria, and then click Find Now.

STATUS
