Small Amount of Memory Lost for Each Document Created

SYMPTOMS

Each time you create a new document based on an empty template that has a preview picture saved with it, the document consumes 800 bytes of memory. Closing the document does not free the memory.

 

RESOLUTION

To free the the memory, reboot the system.

To correct this problem, upgrade to Word for Windows 95, version 7.0a.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the products listed at the beginning of this article. This problem was corrected in Word for Windows 95, version 7.0a.
