The GC1282.exe file contains the information necessary to update the RTF Specification to Word 97 (all platforms). Use this document if you are familiar with the full specification and want to learn what changes are necessary to update your RTF reader or writer to be compatible with Word 97. You can obtain this document from the Microsoft Software Library which is available on the World Wide Web at the following address:

This RTF Addendum is meant to be used in conjunction with the full RTF Specification (GC0165.exe version 1.4 or later) and assumes that you have read that document.
