The information in this article applies to:
SYMPTOMSWhen you create a long style name or a style that is formatted with expanded characters, that style name may be cut off in the Style drop-down list on the Formatting toolbar.
CAUSEThe style name is too long or the expanded character formatting setting is too large.
WORKAROUNDTo see the entire style name on the Style list, use the Organizer to shorten the name of the style. To do this, follow these steps:
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
