WD98: Batch Converter Preferences Selection Control Doesn't Work

SYMPTOMS

In the Batch Converter, when you click the selection control button to set the Convert Documents To box, nothing happens. (The Convert Documents To box is available in the Batch Converter Preferences. To show the Batch Converter Preferences, click Preferences on the Edit menu.)

WORKAROUND

Do not click the selection control (up/down arrow button) on the Convert Documents To box. Click in the Convert Documents To box to change the selection.

NOTE: When you click into the Convert Documents To box, the list of available Word converters will drop down and you can click one to select it.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
