The Microsoft Windows 95 Control Panel, Regional (International in Windows 3.x) date and time settings change the date and time instructions in the Microsoft Word for Windows Insert Field dialog box.

In Microsoft Word for Windows, the Insert Field dialog box lists a number of possible formats for displaying the date and time. The Control Panel in Windows allows you to change the display of the date and time in Windows. These changes affect the Instructions list in the Insert Field dialog box for the date and time in Word for Windows.
