Joliet, Joliet, Wherefore Art Thou Joliet?

Hi, Dr. GUI:

I am a developer of multimedia software utilizing CD recorders. I am searching for the specifications to the Joliet extension to the ISO 9660 without much success. Microsoft does provide some info, which is very sketchy and incomprehensible. Is there any other documentation you can provide for a better explanation of the specs?
