Access ordering
Microsoft and Intel have not concluded whether strong write ordering or strong read ordering will be required for these systems.
The current version of Windows NT requires strong write ordering and strong read ordering. Existing application software may also require strong write ordering and strong read ordering. The safe thing to do is to implement multi-processor systems and strong write ordering and strong read ordering.
