When the distribution database is created, SQL Server runs the INSTDIST.SQL script. This script creates these tables:

MSsubscriber_status
MSsubscriber_jobs
MSsubscriber_info
MSjob_subscriptions
It also creates the stored procedures used by the log reader, synchronization, and distribution processes.
