Replication for Owner-qualified Tables

Users other than database owners (DBOs) can replicate tables between databases and maintain their ownership of the tables. A table that is replicated from a publisher to a subscriber can be owned by the owner of the published table; it is then referred to as an owner-qualified table.

This feature is useful for users who want to maintain ownership of their replicated tables in the subscriber database.

    To set up owner-qualified tables
  1. Create articles and a publication.
  2. From the Edit Publication dialog box, choose Edit.

The Manage Article dialog box appears.

  3. Select the Owner-Qualify Table Name check box.
  4. Choose OK.

Note When using the owner-qualified option, automatic synchronization is not supported.
