Set Default Security Rights

To change a user's default security level:

1. Select the desired user in the VSS Administrator user list.
   
   
2. From the Users menu, click Edit User.
   
   
3. Select the Read only check box to restrict a user to read-only rights.

   Or

   Clear the Read only check box to grant read/write access rights.
