Device Registry Keys and Values

Windows 95 uses the registry to store information that identifies detected or enumerated devices and the device drivers that support them. The system relies on this information to reliably allocate resources for "legacy" devices (those without Plug and Play circuitry) and to install appropriate device drivers and other supporting components.
