ImmSimulateHotKey

The ImmSimulateHotKey function simulates the specified IME hot key, causing the same response as if the user had pressed the hot key in the specified window.

Parameters

hWnd
Handle to the window.
dwHotKeyID
Identifier of the IME hot key. This parameter can be one of the values specified in the "IME Hot Key Identifiers" table in Input Method Editor Constants.

Return Values

If the function succeeds, the return value is a nonzero value.

If the function fails, the return value is zero.

Remarks

Windows CE: Windows CE supports the following value for the dwHotKeyID parameter:

IME_JHOTKEY_CLOSE_OPEN
(Japanese) Alternately opens and closes the IME.
